So, here we are.
This is my first post ever made on the internet and I’m really excited about how things will go from here. 🤓
If You haven’t checked already the about page - feel free to do so.
What will You find here
I’m aiming to create content about programming in general. Probably I will focus mostly on the web development stuff since this is what I do since 2018.
Oftentimes I was going through the rabbit hole to find a solution to some problems that I’ve encountered and for some reason I have a tendency to hit the wall with problems that nobody ever had. 😅
This is another thing I would like to do here - share small but yet very interesting things and solutions to:
- programming
- styling
- hosting
- handling CI/CD pipelines
- day to day stuff
- dogs (maybe?)
and other day to day stuff that I find worth sharing.
How it all started
First idea to create my own space on the internet showed up in 2023. I remember that I’ve been doing the Astro.build(opens in new tab) tutorial from James Q Quick(opens in new tab) and after I finished it I felt pretty comfortable with Astro itself. I felt a fresh breath of air after spending years with Next.js(opens in new tab) and was really pumped to build my own thing with the tech I had just learned.
Months went by and nothing… All of a sudden 2025 showed up and the thought about making my own website got a rebirth.
Aaaand… yet again months went by…
2026 said hello
As 2026 started I told myself “That’s enough… I cannot postpone it forever” and something clicked that day and I bootstrapped a simple Next.js(opens in new tab) app with MDX Remote(opens in new tab) to keep my content inside the project as MDX files within two days and I was pretty much happy.
But… I’m using Next.js(opens in new tab) on my daily basis at work and I’ve decided I want to go with Astro so I took Claude Code(opens in new tab) and bootstrapped a fresh Astro.build(opens in new tab) project from CLI and migrated everything.
It was a breeze and after one day I was ready to start the hardest thing that comes with web development… Which is the “How the hell am I gonna design it?” so I’ve started researching multiple designs and their names. I’ve had no idea there are so many of them and it felt like yet another rabbit hole.
After a few days I came up with an idea and started sharing it with Claude Code(opens in new tab) and asked it to prepare 10 different designs for me using the frontend-design skill… after 50 of them I’ve finally found one that caught my eye and I’ve purged all other designs and left the one that I liked.
It took me about a month of fine tuning it to be simple, nice looking and not “overdone” so after 4 weekends of fine tuning I’m with it here. There are still things I want to update but the most important is that I have something that I enjoy and want to work on.
It’s 5th of May 2026
Aaaand it is mid April and finally I feel confident to start writing here. To be honest I don’t know what I can say. I haven’t felt that hyped for years like I am now. Well.. maybe I was hyped just as much when AI tools started showing up and I jumped on to the AI bandwagon.
So… whats next?
I want to focus on my personal goals right now and keep up with the tempo constantly learning every day. As I mentioned earlier I will try to share my:
- thoughts
- solutions to weird problems I’ve encountered
- explain harder concepts of programming
while trying to be as easy to understand and down to earth as possible. 🤓
Thank You
Thank You for taking the time to read this. It means a lot.
If anything here resonates with you - or if you’ve ever stared at a blank “new project” screen for two years before finally shipping - know that you’re not alone. 😄
See you in the next one.
